We are looking for an HR and Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources and Marketing department.
Your main administrative duties include maintaining job descriptions, posting open positions, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews with potential new hires, maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and on-boarding guides), and updating internal databases.
Additionally, we need assistance in our marketing department with content creation and engagement on our social media pages. Our ideal candidate has experience with both marketing and HR procedures and can juggle various administrative and marketing tasks in a timely manner, and should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws and assist with marketing as needed.
HR/Admin Responsibilities
- Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts, new hire guides, and on-boarding documentation
- Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
- Revise company policies
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- Assisting our company’s Managing Partners with tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, sending emails on their behalf
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Process expense forms and create monthly expense reports from credit card statements
- Answer employee queries about HR-related issues
- Scheduling and communications for our company’s Managing Partners
- Assist marketing department with social media engagement and other marketing tasks as needed
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Assist with development of content marketing strategy for XcelPros products, with goal of maximizing brand awareness, organic SERP rankings for priority keywords, and organic social media engagement
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Product Marketing teams to understand emerging trends, pain points, and new features in order to create educational content that nurtures leads through buying cycle
- Research and stay up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization, content trends, the competitive landscape, industry “chatter”, and buyer behavior as it relates to the our industry
- Manage back-link building efforts, effectively overseeing relationships with content syndication partners and services
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing team (e.g., Digital Marketing, Design, Social Media, Email marketing) to support broader marketing initiatives through the creation of high quality content
- Continually check search terms, rankings, and analytics to monitor the performance of blog and social media posts and inform future plans
- Assist with the execution of content calendar (editorial & social) for XcelPros products, writing compelling content (e.g., blogs, guides, case studies, social posts) and managing internal / external content production partners
