Event and Publicity Coordinator for author's book tour

An author of bestselling Jewish-themed novels published with a top publisher is looking for an assistant to organize her upcoming book tour for a new novel’s release.

The position requires:

* Knowledge of social media

* Excellent phone skills

* Organizational skills

* Good computer skills

* Familiarity with Jewish organizations

* A great personality

Until October, the position will require about 10-15 hours/week and will pay $25.00 per hour. As of October, the position will require 20-30 hours/week and will pay $30.00 per hour.

Hours are flexible, but mostly during business hours. This author’s book tour lasts at least two years, so while it is a part-time position, it is not temporary.

The author is a popular speaker within her market, and the position requires both responding to invitations as well as pitching new events (for which the response is excellent.)
