About the role:


The HOA Implementation Specialist provides more efficient and effective management of HOA’s, HOA violations, amenities, lease registrations and renewals. This role stays on top and ahead of HOA compliance matters. Sr. HOA Implementation Specialist addresses HOA CC&Rs including leasing restrictions and requirements in a timely and effective manner by reading and understanding legal HOA documents, contacting HOA leaders and board members for conflict resolution, and addressing unique property regulations.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of new HOAs, as well as updates to existing HOAs.
  • Review and document all HOA-related information and maintain accurate records..
  • Implement and review HOA’s and get proper documentation into Otto to effectively use with all cross functional teams
  • Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and improve efficiency in HOA implementation.
  • Act with a sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in HOA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leasing, marketing, and resident services, to ensure effective communication and compliance.
  • Collect and record documents/information received through email, online search engines & phone
  • Review and record all necessary documentation related to HOA properties, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain proper documentation for easy access and reference.


Qualifications:


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to read and interpret complex legal documents and resolve conflicts related to HOA compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for seeing others succeed and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, take initiative, and work independently.
  • 1-5 years of experience in real estate type business, property management, homeowner’s associations or other related fields.
  • Team player with an ability to navigate the organization to achieve individual and team goals
  • Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks and ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset
  • Ability to solve problems and genuinely care for the success of the team and the company
  • Strong understanding of HOA governing documents, CC&Rs (Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions), bylaws, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, foster positive relationships, and effectively communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Compensation:


$19.71 - $34.13 hourly. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location.
