Job Description
Savvas Learning Company is seeking an Implementation Specialist is an active participant on a team that is focused on initial customer on boarding and retention functions within the customer journey with an emphasis on established customer goals and outcomes. The primary responsibility of this position is to garner the support and resources needed for successful subscription implementations for both new and existing customers. The Implementation Specialist will work under general supervision to interact with our sales and services team to provide customers ongoing guidance regarding onboarding, initial training, support, data check-ins, and subscription renewals. The Implementation Specialist will enjoy the opportunity to develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key stakeholders at the school, district, regional or state level in an assigned region and share expertise at all levels. This is an entry-level opportunity that provides a potential career path to the direct Sales or Services organization.


This position can be worked from a remote location, but will be servicing customers in Mountain Time Zone. Preference will be given to qualified candidates located in those areas.


RESPONSIBITIES


  • Work across various departments to resolve problems and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Fully comprehend the onboarding, implementation and renewal process, products, and pricing. Participate in process improvements and optimization of existing procedures.
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop strategies to attain successful customer implementations and renewals and maximize growth.
  • Utilize company CRM tools to track and manage activity. Maintain timely and accurate records of all interactions with customers and internal departments in SalesForce.com.
  • May include managing a defined portfolio of existing customers and initiating contact via phone and email to determine implementation, renewal status or assist in seasonal sales activities. May educate customers and sales on support or subscription offerings along with the benefits of maintaining entitlement to minimize cancellations and increase retention rates.
  • Initiate customer contact post-sale to outline beginning stages of customer journey and establish initial timelines aligned to customer goals and outcomes.
  • Ability and talent for collaborating, recognizing that both internal and external collaboration will lead to success.
  • Coordinate the preparation of renewal quotes and the processing of customer requested changes, merges or expansions per company policies and procedures.
  • Review customer sales onboarding and implementation information, usage data, renewal rates and cancellations to recommend the appropriate course of action to drive best practices.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Proactively identify risk and growth opportunities within the assigned customer base. Work in partnership with the Sales and Services organization to secure potential leads for expansion and cross-sell of licenses and services.
  • Meet assigned metrics and productivity levels.
  • Provide administrative support to our sales team to help support new as well existing implementations and increase customer retention.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Education or Project Management experience with K-12 knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree required/or equivalent experience. May need additional training in skills to fulfill the basic responsibilities of the position.


Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities


  • Must be self-directed and focused on the achievement of overall revenue goals.
  • Classroom teaching experience is a plus.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Ability to achieve established sales objectives.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous Salesforce.com experience is highly attractive but not required.
  • 1 years inside sales, sales support or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable with technology platforms , including Google.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to an evolving organization.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member.
  • Excellent phone skills.


Other


  • Travel will be at a minimum for occasional company or departmental based meetings.
  • This is a work from home position, with work hours based on territory assignment.
  • May require on-site customer presentations and attendance at Savvas Learning Company events and conferences.
