Position: Compliance Specialist (implementation)
Summary: This role involves consulting with APSM customers in their efforts to
maintain compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
:
- Consultation and software implementation activities for APSM clientele
focusing on the successful and efficient implementation and continuation of
covered chemical process compliance with PSM and RMP.
- Software configuration planning and training unique to each customers
needs and processes.
- Formulate plans for solutions development, documentation, and
deployment as well as meeting various compliance, reporting and safety
standards.
- Support the writing of use cases, scope definitions, proposals, and white
papers.
- Participate and facilitate on and off-site activities such as compliance
audits, process hazard analysis, risk analysis, general compliance
consultation, program implementation guidance, implementation
development, study reports and/or other technical documentation.
- Compliance documentation review, status updates, and other activities that
are customarily performed by an employee in a similar position and other
unrelated services and duties as may be assigned or required by the
Company.
- This position will also require travel.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Great social, personal, written and verbal communication and computer skills.
Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Analytical Skills, Data Architecture, Creative,
Advanced Microsoft Suite, Ability to turn a complex idea into a milestone based
solution, Project Planning, Attention to detail, time management, ability to work
with minimal direction, basic visual basic or similar, ability to adapt, ability to
balance multiple projects and tasks at once, and familiarity with process
improvement is required.
PSM/RMP knowledge and experience. Knowledge
and experience with technical studies such as compliance audits, process hazard
analyses, and hazard assessments.
Compensation: Starting salary negotiable
Work Environment:
- Remote position.
- This position is full-time and will also require travel.
