Payroll Implementation Specialist

Simcoa Operations Pty. Ltd. is looking for a Payroll Implementation Specialist to join our growing Payroll Team! This person will support our clients’ payroll needs and assist in future changes and anticipated growth. We’re looking for a person with well-rounded payroll knowledge and extensive implementation experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
• Assists in facilitating audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
• Oversees the implementation process for the payroll team
• Maintains and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions
• Identifies and recommends updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
• Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employee’s hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
• Ability to monitor sensitive data and process it in a timely and efficient manner
• Proficient with payroll software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound ability to support other teams in collaboration with payroll systems

Education and Experience:

• ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
• At least five years of related experience required (10 years preferred)
• At least two years of implementation experience required
• Isolved experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
