Description


The Healthcare Call Center Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Client Service Department. The Client Services Manager is the escalation point for patient issues that cannot be handled by the receptionist and patient Liaisons. The Client Services Manager provides coaching, training and support to the Intake team.


We Need You To


  • Responsible for reading patient history and notes, and entering information into our electronic billing system
  • Ensure that all insurance and patient inquiries are answered in a timely and courteous manner
  • Screen and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments
  • Responsible for keeping current on changes in procedures from referral sources
  • Responsible for overseeing the Client Services team including reception, scheduling, new patient registration and coordinating with the primary care physician’s offices
  • Ensures that all patient information in electronic and paper charts are current and accurate
  • Supervises the scheduling of patients for diagnostic, set up or follow up appointments
  • Acts as a point of contact and resource to outside accounts and special projects such as ResMed care management and Nationwide
  • Take verbal and electronic orders from physicians, discharge planners and other medical personnel as necessary
  • Assesses work volume, schedules and rotates staff as necessary
  • Reviews departmental processes and procedures and makes recommendations to the VP of Ops for improvement as needed
  • Provides escalation support to Intake staff by answering customer complaints in writing, over the phone and in person. Takes calls on more complex patient or PCP office questions from outside the company or from other employees within the organization


Requirements


You’ll be a great fit for us if you have:


  • A strong commitment to patient care.
  • A HS degree or equivalent required, AA or BS in billing or healthcare preferred.
  • Salary range of $70,000.00 to $85,000.00
  • Two to three years experience in the sleep industry, but this is preferred
  • Two years managing a front medical office is required.
