About this role


As the Head of Recruitment, you'll take charge of the thriving Talent division at Zilliz, leading an elite team of Talent Partners. You’ll report to the CEO and mastermind the recruitment process, dazzle candidates with unparalleled experience, and expertly scale our procedures.

What you will do:


  • Establish trusted partnerships with leaders and hiring teams to comprehend their needs, devise sourcing strategies, and manage the end-to-end process of securing premier talent for Zilliz.
  • Expand Zilliz's recruitment function, constructing an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Assist in the development and fortification of our employer brand through various channels and talent community engagement, such as conferences, career fairs, social media, and hackathons.
  • Serve as Cohere's primary resource for strategic talent market intelligence, and forge solid relationships with vital partners in the local and global Tech and AI community.
  • Continually refine and enhance our recruiting and assessment processes, collaborating closely with the core HR team to advance procedures surrounding total rewards, onboarding, career development, leadership growth, and training. Uphold our DEI principles and foster inclusivity within our hiring practices and candidate experience.
  • Directly lead, mentor, and develop a small yet mighty team of Talent Partners
  • Identify, attract, and secure top-tier talent in the highly competitive AI landscape


What we are looking for:


  • Rigorous operational diligence and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Over a decade of expertise in Talent Acquisition, specializing in the recruitment of competitive Engineering, Sales, GTM, and G&A Talent.
  • Proven experience in establishing, leading, and expanding a team while emphasizing team growth, uniformity, and scalability.
  • Five or more years in a people management capacity.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and using data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-development skills, along with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
