Job Description

The EVP Marketing will play a pivotal role in developing strategic and creative product marketing campaigns for exceptional content and properties, encompassing film, television, publishing and games. Working in close collaboration with studio, television, and digital media distribution partners, the role will serve as the primary liaison and spearhead key initiatives with global distribution partners in the media industry. Ensuring effective product promotion, corporate partner tie-ins, and seamless integration of product brands across all lines of business will be a core responsibility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in global product marketing partnerships and a deep network within the studio, television, and digital media industry. The individual will be tasked with exponentially increasing consumer awareness through strategic branding and positioning, emphasizing the creative process and market integration specific to the properties.


What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute impactful creative ideas that foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure successful product delivery with global film, television, and digital distribution partners.
  • Supervise internal and external product marketing campaigns, encompassing partnerships, branding, client relations, creative development, and franchise collaborations.
  • Develop and oversee the product marketing strategy, with a primary focus on increasing awareness of the company's film, television, digital production, distribution, and strategic partnerships with the studio and other partner outlets.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging and monetizing the company's products.
  • Operate as an innovative thinker who can set creative direction, establish strategic partnerships, negotiate complex deals, and foster enduring business relationships within the entertainment community.
  • Effectively communicate the company's product marketing and partnership strategies to internal and external partners, as well as new business development clients, in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Direct strategic plans and concepts to generate interest, awareness, demand, and recognition for all content and properties, with a strong emphasis on achieving financial success.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support and drive financial performance across content, products, and distribution relationships.
  • Responsible for aligning marketing strategies with international partners.
  • Assume a leadership role in overseeing the creative and strategic development and execution of all external positioning efforts for products across consumer, trade, business, production, theatrical, and partner outlets.
  • Demonstrate strong management and leadership skills by organizing workflow, managing creative teams, and providing guidance, mentorship, and direction for the group.
  • Position the company as a prominent franchise with lucrative global partnership opportunities across all product lines and business segments, including television content, sports, reality, and digital media.
  • Foster positive relationships with studio industry partners, cultivating a reputation within the creative community and forging unique partnership opportunities to ensure successful global product releases.


Your Experience:

  • Proven track record of driving trade product marketing strategy and overseeing creative conception in collaboration with studio, television, and digital partners.
  • At least 10-15 years of direct product marketing background in the entertainment industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university in public relations, marketing, communications, or similar discipline.
  • Advanced degree, MBA, or extensive career background preferred.
  • Global marketing brand experience working in international markets or for major studios, global television networks, distribution companies and/or digital media brands.
  • Demonstrated success as a competent leader and manager of creative and business teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and execution skills in multicultural business environments, with the ability to drive financial performance through astute business acumen and deliver results.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer product marketing, brand tie-ins, sponsorship, and creative marketing, with well-established relationships with industry contacts.
  • Significant experience in theatrical film, television, and digital marketing within the entertainment industry, preferably with major film studios or independent film companies. An in-depth understanding of theatrical industry markets is crucial, along with essential knowledge of television distribution and digital platforms.
  • Creative thinker capable of translating business events into revenue and partnership opportunities.


Salary range:

$350K or greater, based on experience.
