Job Description

The Head of Partnerships organizes, oversees, and conducts all Affiliate Golf Company and Influencer Outreach. The purpose of this outreach is to nurture relationships and close deals with golf companies and golf Influencers (who have audiences on social media, email lists, blogs, etc.) to promote and sell our digital and physical products to their audiences in exchange for the highest commission rate in the golf industry. Your success is measured by how many new customers your partners send to Performance Golf monthly.

Performance Golf has the best incentive plan for golf influencers in the world. One influencer made $67k in a week!



Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain existing and new partnership relationships by consistently coaching and encouraging them to follow our best practices (which have been shown to increase their earning potential by 3-5X!).
  • Prospect, engage, and build partnerships with golf companies and social media macro-influencers (50K+ audiences). Manage the entire relationship lifecycle from onboarding, performance updates, and payments.
  • Field inbound partnership inquiries and vet new opportunities methodically to pinpoint relationships for shared success.
  • Focus on using the 80/20 rule, where 80% or more of our revenue will likely come from 20% of companies/influencers. Prioritize the best partners and plan as many promotions with them as possible.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce creative campaigns that will hit the sweet spot with our affiliate/influencer partners and shared audiences.
  • Partner with management to present potential deals ensuring alignment and profitability for the company
  • Partner with finance to track and analyze key performance metrics for continuous improvement on partner campaigns
  • Identify opportunities to integrate partnerships into other parts of Performance Golf’s marketing lifecycle – not limited to whitelisting, organic amplification, and contesting.
  • Leverage and grow our very active and existing CRM to generate continuous business and new opportunities.

Qualifications:


  • An active golf network
  • A solid understanding of a “sales pipeline” and how to organize and activate a CRM
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Experience in CRM platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, GRIN, etc.)
  • Experience in B2B, managing different phases of vendor and/or partner relationships
  • 2 years minimum, 3-5+ years experience preferred in building partnerships, sales, and/or business development
  • Experience with email outreach/cold email
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and experience dealing with influencers
  • Strong analytical skills; measuring and tracking ROI
