The Head of Partner Sales, Customer Experience will win, maintain, educate, and expand relationships with their channel partners. Responsible for achieving sales, profitability, education and recruitment objectives in the software and/or SaaS markets targeting the social experience and social engagement segments. Channel leader must exhibit several key abilities, including, but not limited to: background selling solutions based technology solutions (preferably in the software / SaaS space), effective channel recruitment strategies, conducting in-person and remote sales calls, and previous experience developing and building channel sales strategies from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement sales processes, methodologies, infrastructure and metrics to optimize performance of the sales organization
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and advisors to develop and implement a go-to-market strategy which includes key deliverables, dates, and competitive strategies to achieve the company’s growth objectives.
  • Clearly define and implement operational metrics and KPIs that measure, optimize, and continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of sales programs, tactics, and strategy; you will experiment and develop winning sales strategies to improve revenue growth.
  • Be a hands-on leader who can represent Nextiva in front of customers and consistently drive a high velocity sales motion, including evangelizing Nextiva’s vision through customer interaction, speaking engagements, and other events.
  • Provide hands-on metrics-driven sales leadership to help accelerate growth and profitability and provide the executive team with “operational insight” and effective investment decision frameworks and tools, to better manage the business and investment yield.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on, ‘player-coach’ leadership style
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to exercise assertiveness to influence others so as to create desired sales results
  • Knowledge of Digital Care, Digital Transformation, and Social Care desirable
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent ability to identify and hire great Channel Management talent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Journalism or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, at times on short notice
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in Contact Center as a Services (CCaaS) industry, familiarity with CCaaS platforms, industry trends, and customer needs highly desirable
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Channel Partner Management and/or Sales Management, Business Development, with an established network of and access to an existing partner ecosystem. Additional inroads into agencies and BPO’s highly desirable
  • Excellent organization skills; superior attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset, entrepreneurial and able to operate effectively with a high degree of autonomy
Compensation, Rewards & Benefits
The salary or hourly wage offered by Nextiva to external candidates considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, etc. Our compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. For this sales role, our estimate of the expected hiring range for the position as posted is $220,000 - $280,000; this includes annualized base salary and annualized target sales incentive. Some sales roles are paid on an hourly basis and eligible for overtime. A different level in the job hierarchy apply to a specific candidate resulting in a different hiring range.
