Job Description

Our client is a renowned management consulting firm seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to join our team as the Part-Time Head of HR. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy, fostering a positive work culture, and driving employee engagement and development initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to the management team.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Drive the performance evaluation process, ensuring fair and consistent assessments and the implementation of effective performance improvement plans.
  • Lead and mentor a small HR team, providing guidance and support in areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs, forecast staffing requirements, and develop workforce planning strategies.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with the company's goals and values.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in HR.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs, initiatives, and activities to foster a positive work environment.


Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies, performance management, employee engagement, and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Proven experience as an HR leader, preferably in a management consulting firm or professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Schedule and Compensation:

  • The schedule can be flexible, with the potential for a mix of remote and on-site work.
  • Compensation: $60 - $70 per hour
  • This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 10-20 hours per week.


**This is a part time W2 role and does not qualify for benefits
