Integral Federal is seeking an experienced, hands-on human resources executive who will play an integral role in providing leadership in the development and execution of Integral’s HR strategy that supports our organizational goals. The ideal candidate has proven experience with organizational change, growth and how to build an inclusive environment that lays the foundation for succession planning, career progression and the foundations of sound performance management systems. This role serves as a change agent and process improvement leader in support of the organization's goals, objectives, and overall culture. To be successful, the chosen candidate must develop strong, collaborative relationships with the members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Board of Directors, and other managers. The head of Human Resources (HR) will be responsible for the development and execution of all Human Resources functions/disciplines: Compensation, Compliance (EEO laws & regulations), HRIS, Benefit design, negotiation, and administration.
Responsibilities:- Perform duties in accordance with Integral Federal’s standard responsibilities involving the following categories: business strategy, planning, directions, and control; administration, operations, and direct work management; people management.
- Provide advice and guidance on the human resources implications of strategic and business initiatives to the CEO and ELT.
- Oversee practices pertaining to policy development, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates.
- Design and recommend organizational structures and allocation of resources and responsibilities.
- Formulate new or revised human resource policies, procedures, and programs to align human resources activities and objectives to ensure consistent application throughout the organization and minimize risk.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Manage the maintenance of records and compile statistical reports concerning human resources metrics and trends.
- Provides strategic Human Resources leadership to the organization through executive-level contributions to organizational decision making.
- Advise and support the Recruiting Team on talent development and compensation and benefits, diversity, equity and inclusion and other critical human capital priorities.
- Recommend and implement changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of employee problems and develop recommendations for improvement of the organization's human resources policies and practices.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets for human resources and related expenses.
- Oversees all human resources functions including talent acquisition & retention, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, career development, succession planning, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Integral Federal, excellent customer service, and advocacy of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Broad and in-depth understanding of compensation and benefits, staffing, employee relations, leadership training, organizational development, and employment laws/regulations.
- Capability to think strategically while focusing on tactical and operational issues in a highly ambiguous environment.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of improving processes and procedures, writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- A minimum of 15 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience with a minimum of 5 years as a senior executive.
- Extensive experience as a developer and interpreter of human resources programs and policies as they relate to the organization’s strategy and mission.
- Proven history of successful partnerships with senior management teams and a Board of Directors.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master's preferred.
- Senior SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SPHR certification a plus
