Job Description

Cascadia Metals Inc, our US Division, is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Human Resources Manager who will oversee personnel and daily operations of the human resources department working out of our Longview location. Responsibilities
  • Provides management with coaching and consulting support in all areas of talent management, including selection, assessment, development, deployment, engagement, and talent retention.
  • Coordinates and delivers quality overall HR support to ensure requests are met in a timely manner related to recruitment, staffing, employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, and other HR-related services as needed.
  • Engages in ongoing assessment of HR process effectiveness and identification of improvement opportunities and solutions.
  • Develops strong employee relations at all levels of the organization; balances employee advocacy with business needs
  • Serves as the first line contact for employees and management related to all Human Resources activities.
  • Builds and implements best-in-class capabilities to support the leadership team in developing and acquiring the right talent.
  • Assesses and prioritizes functional workforce needs and collaborate with management in identifying solutions and leading their implementation.
  • Performs other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
  • May lead or coordinate special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to: Work in a fast-paced environment; prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of: Human Resources laws, regulations, and best practices; HR department processes, policies, and procedures; Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skill in: Building trusted partnerships; developing interpersonal relationships with leadership and colleagues; working as a team member; communicating effectively; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
