Position Overview: As the Head of Product, you will play a critical role in building a B2B platform that is loved by customers and help them increase their top line. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap and collaborating closely with the engineering, design, and sales teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive revenue growth. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage startup as a founding team member.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive the product strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company's vision and goals.
- Operates as a leader while also fulfilling the role of a Product Manager during the initial stages of the company, taking a hands-on approach to product development, prioritization, writing user stories, and execution.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering, design, and sales teams to prioritize and deliver high-quality product releases.
- Conduct market research, analyze user feedback, and gather insights to identify customer needs and opportunities for product enhancements.
- Define and measure key product metrics to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive the full product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and post-launch evaluation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in generative AI technologies, ensuring the company's product offerings remain innovative and competitive.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head of Product or similar leadership role in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling a product from scratch to maturity.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align product initiatives with business objectives.
- Proven experience building delightful product experiences for B2B SaaS customers.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience working across onshore and offshore development teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a customer-centric mindset.
- Able to work in our Bay Area office 2-3 times per week.
Nice to have:
- Solid understanding of generative AI technologies and their application in sales automation or related fields.
- An engineering background is a plus.
