Graphic Designer, Presentations And Events

Our well-known retail client is seeking a designer to join their team on a long-term W2 contract. The designer will work to create graphics, charts, and templates for presentations used by C-level speaks at their annual conference. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with interactive and presentation design for large, live audiences.

This position will work a flexible hybrid schedule in their Irving, TX office. All McKinley roles include a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality graphics, charts, and templates for multiple presentations
• Assist other graphic design projects as needed
• Partner with internal groups to create high-quality graphics to complement collateral according to the event's theme and the overall brand
• Support agency and in-house creative agency in creating graphics for the annual event
• Lead the design, production, and editing of high-visibility presentations for C-level speakers at the annual conference
• Maintain consistency of company branding and messaging
• Work closely with internal clients, subject matter experts, and external customers on project organization and content development
• Transform presentations into a graphically engaging and brand-consistent storytelling experience
• Create presentations that can fit large, high-quality screens and multiple screens
• Present creative proposals to internal clients and stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including the executive level

Requirements

• Experience in interactive and presentation design or multimedia-related roles targeting large, live audiences
• Experience working with video production editing software is a plus
• Experience with production-level graphic design for CPG, consumer brands, or retail is preferred
• Ability to collaborate on creative projects with an eager attitude to utilize feedback to enhance the final outcome
• Strong sense of visual design, brand, and color as demonstrated through a portfolio
• Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of general event planning, terminology, and event marketing
• Ability to work under deadlines for executive-level stakeholders
• Experience creating interactive and animated designs is preferred
