Onward Search needs a Graphic Designer for a position with a large consulting firm.

You’ll join a creative team to create compelling designs.

This is a 3–6-month contract with the possibility of extending the longer term. Remote position but only considering candidates in Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, McLean, Tysons, Washington D.C.

As a Graphic Designer you’ll:

• Experience in design support for Government work is highly valued.
• Design proposals, presentations, graphics, and other deliverables related to business development in the Federal, state, and local government sectors.
• Participate in creative ideation sessions and design sprints, contributing to a positive client and team experience.
• Marketing experience will be beneficial in this role.
• Take a proactive approach in engaging with internal clients, presenting design deliverables, and negotiating to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with internal clients and cross-disciplinary creative team members to develop dynamic design solutions that reflect the client's vision and incorporate the company's brand.
• Effectively communicate and influence internal clients, ensuring they embrace your creative ideas.
• Build strong client relationships and develop a deep understanding of their business needs.
• Demonstrate curiosity and an aptitude for delivering innovative design solutions.
• Provide design consultations, concepts, and comprehensive designs that align with the creative brief, working closely with your creative team.
• Create storyboards, layouts, and design solutions that effectively communicate ideas aligned with the creative brief.
• Use your creative and problem-solving abilities as a graphic designer to deliver exceptional design work.
• Transform the clients' vision and business needs into innovative and impactful products or deliverables.

Skills & Experience needed:

• Exhibit excellent project management skills, efficiently prioritizing multiple projects and milestones, and delivering desirable solutions within specified time frames and budgets.
• Possess technical knowledge of digital media and print design, both in-house and with external vendors.
• Utilize brand guidelines to develop various creative initiatives, following established procedures and processes.
• Demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and confidence in communication, actively listening and diplomatically collaborating with business partners, project owners, managers, and team members.
• Apply sound business acumen to adapt and work alongside client-serving professionals.
• Design visually compelling campaigns and presentations that effectively convey messages and engage audiences.
• Quickly grasp a comprehensive understanding of the firm's brand, strategy, and standards.
• Proactively engage with internal clients, effectively presenting, influencing, and negotiating design deliverables that align with business needs.
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify, resolve, and overcome obstacles throughout the design process.
