Graphic Designer Jobs

The Graphic Designer I designs and produces printed publications and promotional items.

• Meets critical deadlines for FAS division.
• Uses technology and software to create images and layouts of websites and printed pages.
• Creates artworks, images, text, and graphic design for publications and reports.
• Creates videos and video content for website and presentations.
• Works as part of a team to ensure assigned projects are accurate and timely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provides layout and design for various print publications, including but not limited to brochures, fliers, posters, postcards, and reports.
• Produces Desktop publishing for assigned projects.
• Presents and proposes design solution to supervisor.
• Interacts and provides customer service (via email and telephone) with students, staff and the public in a positive manner and answers questions regarding department matters.
• Consults and discusses photographic shoots, and video, with photographers according to project specifications.
• Documents and maintains ongoing status reports of all projects.
• Prepares routine correspondence, forms, reports, and other material using standard electronic and computer-based equipment.

Work Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.
• Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design, Art, or related field
