The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year program that supports the development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris. A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris's culture and industrial heritage leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their career.
Contributes to the Supply Chain function while he/she learns, trains, and improves skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services.
Supply planning responsibilities: Consolidates the Supply Plan, supervises Inventory Management, ensures follow up information is communicated for the orders of the corresponding Production Unit (PU) in the region, monitors inbound material, and activates dispatches to customers according to the invoicing plan.
- Updates a supply plan aligned with the Commitment to Deliver (CTD) as defined by Commercial Front End (CFE) in order to ensure the consolidated view of the region business.
- Is involved in the Demand Planning Integrated Cycle, wherever required, giving necessary input, support and analysis for reaching Commitment to Deliver (CTD) and Commitment to Supply (CTS) levels considering the available resources.
- Gives input to and assists the CFE in order to solve critical supply issues along the Supply Chain.
Main Responsibilities as a Global Trainee in the Supply Chain department:
- Observes core processes through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities.
- Analyzes information and prepares different deliverables as reports and processes. Gains deep knowledge of the processes he/she is exposed to.
- Develops specific projects within the Supply Chain department.
- Develops and manages a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area’s results.
- Maintains regular contact with other areas of the company, and interacts with different hierarchical levels in order to achieve the expected performance and results.
Requirements:
- BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Recently graduated. Less than 2 years from graduation.
- Good communication skills.
- Analytical, results-driven.
- Excel, PBI or other data analytics tools.
