General Accounting Coordinator Jobs

Job Summary Statement

Pay commissions correctly according to assigned rules and instructions; customer master setup, expense report audit/processing; and other general accounting duties as required.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up new Igloo accounts in Oracle Customer Master.
• Update daily cash report information with reports from banks and Company Store and deliver to Assistant Controller.
• Audit all Associate Expense Reports for compliance with Travel Policy utilizing Certify. Code and deliver to Payroll.
• Generate Journal Entry upload files for prior month actual and current month accrual.
• Create commission rules in Oracle Incentive Compensation. Collect receivables data in Incentive Compensation Module, process adjustments as needed, validate calculations, and submit monthly pay run to Accounts Payable.
• Manage Petty Cash.
• Manage Igloo Company Credit Card(s) – responsible for coding and tracking expenses for travel cards.
• Generate and email invoices for regrind and recycling.
• Provide back up to department co-workers when requested.
• Manage AP check mailings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Education High school education
• English language skills Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
• Other Intermediate knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables)
• Certifications, Licenses, Registrations None
• Essential Physical Demands of the job extended sitting, standing, ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Math skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Experience Three to five years of general office experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 plus years general office experience; some Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience. Comfortable with managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
