FINANCE AND OPERATIONS COORDINATOR


We are looking for a Finance and Operations Coordinator to join our team who is entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and eager to expand their skill set as RALLY scales its operations. As the Finance and Operations Coordinator, you support a broad range of finance and accounting, HR, and business operations functions, including month-end close, account reconciliations, Accounts Payable, and Payroll processing. Our ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, a passion for accuracy and attention to detail, and a desire to support a variety of projects. RALLY’s first preference is for someone to be based in Austin, TX but candidates in any of RALLY’s cities will be considered. RALLY has a hybrid office culture and team members are expected to work in person at least twice weekly.


Responsibilities


Accounting and Account Reconciliations


  • Assist with end-of-contract audit to ensure proper payment was received
  • Perform monthly bank account reconciliation
  • Reconcile and code monthly credit card statement
  • Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
  • Maintain accounting files and records
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reconciliations ensuring transactions are accurately recorded


Payroll and Benefits


  • Support the processing of bi-monthly payroll
  • Reconcile benefits for payroll entry
  • Administer 401k onboarding with vendor and employee


Deposits and Accounts Receivable


  • Monitor aging and assist with follow-up and collections
  • Update accounts receivable ledger with payments upon receipt


Accounts Payable


  • Respond to vendor inquiries and information requests
  • Manage accounts payable for RALLY vendors and expenses
  • Work with the Director of Finance and the CEO on the payment of the vendors
  • Maintain and confirm vendor files and information
  • Manage RALLY’s monthly expense approval process


Miscellaneous


  • Coordinate the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related benefits
  • Support the assessment and implementation of appropriate financial tools and processes RALLY does not currently take advantage of to fill gaps
  • Communicate with employees to provide information and answer queries related to their benefits, eligibility, and coverage.
  • Evaluates processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Collaborate with insurance providers, HR personnel, and finance department to resolve any benefit-related issues or discrepancies.


Qualifications


  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently and with a cross-functional team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to work in person as needed. Minimal work travel also required
  • Working knowledge of payroll processing program, ADP a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting functions, with payroll experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of accounting software programs, Sage Intacct, a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, withstrong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of accounting software is required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to concurrent deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy
