Our Opportunity

Client is seeking an accounts payable clerk to help with day to day office duties

What You'll Do

Preform accounting and clerical task related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Essential Functions

• Keying PO & non PO invoices into system.
• Keeping up with company owned vehicles and registration, making folders for each vehicle with bill of sale and title; as well as vehicles sold.
• Reviewing GRIR and researching outstanding items
• Maintain AP Inbox and respond to all vendor inquiries
• Create positive pay files daily
• 1099 MISC & NEC research and reporting, must know how to manually prepare 1099 forms.
• Investigate when quantity or amount differs on invoice/PO and contact correct personnel to make necessary corrections.
• Keying and cutting distributions.
• Processing payments, including weekly check runs.
• Maintain vendor records and current W-9

Work Experience

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• SAP experience strongly preferred. ERP experience required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in 10 key
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner

Education And Experience

• 2 years accounts payable experience in a manufacturing setting
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field a plus

Work Environment

• Occasional overtime required when necessary.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and E-Verify*
• Generally 8 hour days, 5 days a week, indoors in a controlled environment.
