A VERY STABLE company is seeking a Payroll Accountant to join their team as a result of an internal promotion. The company offers great work life balance and benefits. The company offer a 2 DAYS in office arrangement. The role supports the payroll team including processing payroll, audits, fielding questions as well as assisting in the month end close process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growth throughout their career within a payroll department. Some of the responsibilities include:

· Responsible for full life-cycle payroll processing: semimonthly on cycle and off cycle adjustments

· Oversee accurate payroll management including but not limited to: onboarding, off boarding, salary adjustments, bonus / commission tracking and payments

· Complete state filings and registrations

· Partner with employees and managers on prompt and accurate time and attendance submission and documentation

· Partner with employees regarding policies, procedures, programs, and any payroll related questions

· Manage all fringe benefits, deductions, garnishments, and leave pay

· Calculate payments for employer’s social security, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and benefit coverage.

· Identify and resolve process bottlenecks and implement processes that enhance performance and impact

· Proactively identify new systems, solutions and payroll/tax related considerations in a high growth environment

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

ADP WFN is required

· 3 plus years’ payroll experience with increasing responsibility and leadership ability

· Solid technical skills in payroll area – compensation, withholdings, benefits, garnishments, regulatory compliance, internal controls

· Ability to communicate clearly to all levels within the organization

· Team player able to build cross functional relationships to drive business results

· Service focused with sense of urgency to both internal and external customers
