Digital Project Management Co-Op

What you'll do

As a Digital Project Management Co-op, you will join a talented team of project managers, marketers, ecommerce specialists, developers, data scientists, and more! This role is fit for someone who is passionate about improving the overall quality of project management processes, tools, and workflows, and is excited to join our team to strengthen our culture of innovation. You should be someone who thrives working with large, cross-functional teams, and can identify actionable insights when working on new projects. In this role, you will partner with the Digital Technologies Project Manager to help execute the latest projects that apply to KIND's Digital Brand. Additionally, you will lead 1 cross-functional project, and you will receive great exposure to leadership as you will present to the Digital Leadership team at the end of the internship. You will also be immersed in the agile framework and ceremonies, which will provide you with critical exposure and understanding of agile ways of working. And here's how you'll do it...

• Coordinate aspects of projects: document and circulate meeting minutes, create project status reports, create project timelines, etc.
• Assist the team responsible for IT portfolio updates and reporting.
• Partner with KIND's Digital PM to manage schedules, scope, constraints, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and deadlines for projects within the Digital portfolio.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Join the IT Agile COE (Center of Excellence) and assist with rollout and training in agile best practices.
• Work cross-functionality with IT, Ecommerce, Marketing, and Operations teams.
• Assist with briefs, decks, and other project deliverables for the Digital leadership team.
• Compose meeting agendas and schedule meetings between internal and external groups and assist with meeting follow ups.
• Lead 1 cross-functional project, including inception, design, development, testing, and delivery.

• Able to be in NYC 2-3 days/week and work remotely the rest of the week

You have...

• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities quickly
• Microsoft Office experience required
• Comfortable working side by side with our leadership to solve exciting problems together
• True team player and able to build relationships with teams
• A passion for technology and project management
• Strong organization, communication, and project management skills

Pluses (if applicable)

• Familiarity with Smartsheet, JIRA, and scrum methodologies

The salary range for this role is $20-22/hr. Please state your salary expectations in your application. KIND intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
