2+ years payroll and HR systems experience

· Calculate payments for employer’s social security, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and benefit coverage.

· 3 plus years’ payroll experience with increasing responsibility and leadership ability

· Responsible for full life-cycle payroll processing: semimonthly on cycle and off cycle adjustments

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, economics, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field

Develop indications and communicate them to Actuarial Management

Programming skills in SQL/SAS/R/Python a plus

Strong written and oral communication and relationship building skills

4-6 years of "high volume" payrolling experience with ADP (1,300+ employees)

Checking the number of hours employees have worked

Issuing employees’ wages by cash, cheque or electronic transfer

Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data

Calculating pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation

Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them

Prior related work experience is preferred but not required.

Relevant computer and software skills (thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office applications).
