Financial Analyst Jobs

Job Summary
This role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasks. You will help to ensure that departmental objectives and project deadlines are met.
The essential functions of the role include:

• Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making.
• Variance analysis
• Cost analysis
• Regulatory/compliance analysis and reporting
• Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes.
• Work with cross-functional groups to provide technical support to business units including:
• Financial reporting
• Partner with multiple functional teams: Corporate Finance, BU Finance, Partner Programs and Incentives, Partner Sales, and Sales Operations.
• Forecasting
• Budgeting/AOP
• Other ad-hoc projects or activities to provide FP&A support.
• Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making.

Job Requirements

• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote business partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of the function.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Hyperion skills a plus).

The tasks this individual is responsible for are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined, requiring a creative approach in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation.

• This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
• Limited supervision is provided, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently.
• Demonstrate good judgment in solving business problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions.
• To be successful, this individual must be detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.

Education
IC - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
