Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance department’s activities in forecasting and budgeting. The Sr. Analyst will also provide financial and operational reports and analysis to the company’s regional management and executive team with the objective of presenting the company’s key performance components and trends to support decision-making.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop financial models and business cases to support acquisition and de novo market recommendations.
  • Work with Operations leads to prepare material for monthly operating reviews, and supporting reviews. Perform additional ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Support other members of Finance department in the annual budgeting process and the potential development of new financial budgeting and forecasting modules to streamline process.
  • Support Chief Operating Officer by performing analysis of potential new markets or acquisition opportunities.
  • Work with the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to develop and refine periodic mid-year and multi-year forecasts to assess impact of current activities and initiatives and establish long-term corporate goals.
  • Analyze and report expenses at a detailed level for the organization. Reporting MoM, QoQ, YoY expenses versus budget.
  • Define and establish key field level financial and operational benchmarks and lead/support the development and production of new tools to assess performance against benchmarks with key performance metrics.
  • Perform analysis of financial and operating trends, results, key variances, performance drivers to make recommendations for actions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Develop recommendations to control and reduce expenses within the organization.

Education And Experience
  • Software skills: Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint essential; experience in Workday, Oracle/NetSuite, Great Plains, Power BI, or other financial accounting software
  • Working with Private Equity-backed companies beneficial but not required
  • Healthcare industry experience beneficial but not required
  • Experience in Business Intelligence software preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA desirable
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, including accounting and financial statement analysis and financial modeling experience
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to travel 10% of time; may fluctuate based on business needs
