Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Financial Analyst at Wake Research, an M3 company. This is a remote position.

Mission of the Role:
The Financial Analyst will focus on supporting the organization by performing financial activities to ensure all financial items are captured accurately and timely. The Financial Analyst will reconcile accrued study activity against amounts paid.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to the following:

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Identify payment issues regarding delayed or incomplete study payments and communicate to sponsor, CRO, and site clinical team/Controller accordingly.
• Research any accounts receivable discrepancies provided by Associate Finance Director.
• Initiate, maintain, and review financial tracking for all assigned study budgets.
• Invoice sponsors and CROs.

Qualifications
Requirements:

• Knowledge of Budget and Contracting Terminology, as well as Medical Terminology.
• Experience with CTMS systems, ERM, or other patient revenue management software preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Account preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in financial management, data analytics, business administration, clinical research or pharmaceutical industries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to balance tasks with competing priorities. Ability to start and finish tasks within the given timeframe
• Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information accurately and appropriate, with discretion.
• Ability to utilize advanced Excel tools in the analysis of large data sets is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or related accounting software applications.
