Finance & Business Management - Product Controller - Securitized Products Group - Associate

Join the Product Control team supporting the Securitized Products Group (SPG), which is part of Markets within the Corporate & Investment Bank. Opportunity for growth and to learn in a fast paced, dynamic environment where you will produce, prepare and report Daily P&L and Risk for SPG trading desks to various stakeholders, including senior Finance and Trading personnel. Interact on a daily basis with trading, risk, middle office, technology & business management functions. First point of contact for all financial and performance information. Provide detailed and ad hoc analysis on this information. Partner with business on implementing robust control environment. Candidate will possess strong academic background (Accounting, Finance, Business degree) with prior relevant experience preferred. Strong communication, analytical and Excel skills, detail oriented team player
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
• Assist with daily P&L reporting and month-end close processes
• Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
• Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
• Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
• Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
• Solid understanding of financial products would be advantageous
• 5+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area
• Experience doing P&L and month end close process
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area
