Product Business Analyst Jobs

We are seeking an experienced product business analyst to help lead this mission.

Working directly with the Scrum team and product owners, the Business Analyst will support and facilitate the continual delivery of technical solutions and business value. They will leverage knowledge of the industry to deliver complete business solutions aligned with the strategic vision and corporate goals.

As a dependency to success, the Business Analyst will follow and champion Agile best practices and guidelines as defined by the company. The Business Analyst will participate in, and provide input to, the ongoing efforts to improve efficiency of the Technology group and Agile function.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
• Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
• Assist with internal and external communication to ensure transparency with the team, sponsors and stakeholders.
• Conduct retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Track and publish prescribed team metrics leveraging ADO/JIRA or other tool capabilities to allow for transparent visualization of project execution.
• Actively identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to be more efficient.
• Monitor budget and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Facilitate the completion of assignments efficiently and without dictating work.
• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings ensuring correct use of scrum process.
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove its own impediments.
• Plan and create roadmaps with the Product Owner.
• Coach the team in Agile practices and mindset.
• Forecast the numbers of deliverables that are possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source.

Requirements

• Excellent capability to gather, evaluate and understand business process & requirements
• Coordinate development resources with the centralized development team and manage project work plans
• Five or more years of experience in product development
• Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Understanding of business value related to features and functions
• In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related discipline
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand and analyze customer product requirements, and prioritize and schedule development initiatives

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $140,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
