Primary Responsibilities:

• Organizing and coordinating turnover, commissioning, and start-up operations, and ensuring that these functions are performed as required on the project
• Distributing and filing design documents, specifications, procedures, instructions, and supplier information
• Obtaining as-built information and preparing as-built drawings
• Preparing requisitions for materials and services to be purchased in the field
• Recommending and requesting approval of design modifications, as appropriate to accommodate improved cost effectiveness of construction
• Interpreting drawings, specifications and technical requirements as required for field personnel
• Coordinating with the client representative to ensure compliance with job requirements and specifications
• Coordinating and scheduling design documents from the design engineer
• Reviewing the budget and assisting Project Controls in preparing definitive estimates on change notices and in issuing a monthly cost status report
• Preparing and administering requests for information, non-conformance reports, and field instructions
• Expediting resolution of design issues
• Assisting the Quality Group in developing and implementing the Quality Program
• Working with the Quality Group to ensure that all work conforms to approved project requirements and specifications
• Reviewing design documents for completeness, Constructability, maintainability, and operability
• Assisting construction supervision in the coordination of contractors
• Assisting other project departments in planning, scheduling, and controlling the project in accordance with overall project objectives
