Storage Field Engineer I Jobs

Coordinate the development and implementation of adult education and skills training programs for workers under the auspices of joint labor-management committees

Maintain and coordinate Training and Employment Committee meetings with labor-management

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling or equivalent years of experience required

Minimum three (3) experience handling workforce development or education required

Knowledge of higher education/workforce development, career and education advisement, and group facilitation required

Must maintain excellent working relations with field personnel, home office personnel, and management.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Service Area Manager.

Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of assigned equipment to provide timely repair and effective maintenance.

Must possess good interpersonal skills.

Performs preventative maintenance as directed.

Preventative and Corrective Maintenance of SPB’s to adhere to warranty requirements.

Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.

OSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification is accepted as long as OSHA 30 is obtained soon after hire)

Previous training and knowledge of inverters.

Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and Energy Storage system applications is an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

US Citizenship or Permanent Resident due to contractual requirements

Educate customer and field technicians

Write documentation used by field technicians

Quick response to customer in an emergency and periodic support

Work as a team member in projects and system migration.

Supervise critical tasks when these activities are performed by third parties (as measuring, dimensional checks, other considered by the management)

Manage, perform, coordinate, and/or monitor Steam Power site activities.

Knowledge to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for wide range of equipment vintage.

Experience working on customer sites.

Strong technical skill in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment.

Perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.

Strong computer skills, experience with construction and/or engineering automation software is a plus. Field experience is a plus.

Interpreting drawings, specifications and technical requirements as required for field personnel

Working with the Quality Group to ensure that all work conforms to approved project requirements and specifications

Coordinating with the client representative to ensure compliance with job requirements and specifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Regularly communicate with manager level nursing and pharmacy staff.

Manage parts inventory and return materials process

Strong knowledge of systems and equipment troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Basic computer systems skills: Windows 10, Networking.

Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to evaluate multiple customer issues and set priorities, and to manage processes

Computer Skills: Knowledge of database, project management, spreadsheet and word processing software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc.

Able to learn to direct and manage supervisors, mechanical specialists, and sub-contractors during maintenance outages.

Able to review and understand complex contracts, work scopes & division of responsibilities

Understand fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of industrial combustion turbine outage maintenance.

Under immediate supervision, perform standard tasks using established methods, principles, concepts and procedures related to combustion turbine outage maintenance.

Works with Operations management on a shift level

Sends stage update emails, ERP summary and detailed reports in the timeframe specified by management

Effective & decisive decision-making skills

Oversees engineering responsibilities on the shift level

Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
