Experienced Cpa/Ea Jobs

Experienced CPA/EA wanted for a CPA firm located in Campbell, CA. While we prefer this to be a full-time position, we can structure either a full or part-time, non-temporary position, depending on the candidate’s skills and desired schedule. We have served the Bay Area for 35 years, we work with individuals, closely-held businesses and their owners and nonprofit organizations. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax laws, able to learn quickly, and develop and maintain professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and reconciliation assistance to clients
• Completing thorough and precise workpaper documentation
• Draft full disclosure financial statements
• Correspond with tax authorities on behalf of clients
• Conduct all aspects of attest engagements -compilations, reviews, audits (mostly for nonprofit entities, including Single Audits), ensuring adherence to standards requirements
• Perform tax and accounting research
• Prepare & review corporate, partnership, nonprofit and individual tax returns
• Prepare & review business property tax statements
• Consulting to individuals, businesses and family groups
• Prepare & review annual information returns

Qualifications

CPA/EA with at least 7 years of public accounting experience

Working knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and tax laws

Experience in basic and complex audit sections

Self -starter that is organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Excellent attention to details and ability to learn new tasks quickly

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision but also collaboratively

Ability to conduct client tax interview with confidence

Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

Ability to explain complicated tax concepts or returns to clients

Ability to learn and implement new software and technology
