Associate Social Media Manager, Ea Sports Portfolio

The EA Communications team builds meaningful relationships with hundreds of millions of players around the world who love EA SPORTS games. Reporting to the Integrated Comms Director on the EA SPORTS Portfolio team, you will develop trust with EA SPORTS players through transparent and purposeful communications. As the Associate Social Media Manager, you contribute to the strategy and execution of social media efforts across titles, which include EA SPORTS NHL, UFC, PGA TOUR, Super Mega Baseball, Golf Clash and Tap Sports Baseball. You will have a data-centric approach and understand social channel platforms and what content engages with our player communities, partnering across team members within Creative, Brand and Production on the content roadmap, briefs, execution and reporting. You will work with the EA SPORTS communications and Brand teams as part of the full marketing strategy for EA SPORTS UFC , NHL , PGA TOUR and Super Mega Baseball.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative engaging social media content for deployment for EA SPORTS Portfolio’s social media channels.
• Contribute to the EA SPORTS portfolio social media strategy.
• For HD titles (NHL, UFC and PGA), the social media manager will partner with the Community Managers on influencer program.
• Collaborate with managers across the Communications team, MarComm, Brand, and game teams to ensure execution of EA SPORTS Portfolio’s tactics/campaign beats.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge and passion of video games and sports entertainment
• 3-5 years of experience as a social media manager
• Written and verbal communication skills in English, along with solid organizational and task management abilities
• Experienced publishing content across different platforms using social scheduling tools such as Sprout and Airtable

Us Compensation And Benefits

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• Jersey City, NJ: $84,750 - $119,650
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $78,500 - $119,650
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $73,150 - $105,250
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $73,150 - $119,650
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $73,150 - $97,500

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
