Job Description
Summary You will serve as a Executive Office Manager in the Threat Target Systems Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU. Responsibilities You will use office equipment, such as copiers, scanners, and computers (services of a skilled typist are not required). You will prepare, review, and edit standard correspondence, reports, and other technical documents to ensure proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, and effective presentation of information. You will make small purchases using government purchase card. You will create travel orders to authorize official travel for assigned employees. You will answer employees? questions concerning automated travel system regarding information and documentation requirement. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate: At the DG-04 Level: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05/06) or pay band (DG-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Executive Office Manager. Specialized experiences must include some or all of the following: (1) Demonstrating knowledge of correspondence SECNAV Manual M-5216.5; (2) Demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, and carry out clerical assignments regarding administrative policy, processes, and travel; and (3) Exhibiting experience with maintaining and coordinating multiple calendars. At DG-05 Level: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-6/7) or pay band (DG-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Executive Office Manager. Specialized experiences must include some or all of the following: (1) Demonstrating knowledge of correspondence SECNAV Manual M-5216.5, Defense Travel System (DTS), and Navy ERP; (2) Exhibiting experience in maintaining and coordinating multiple calendars; (3) Demonstrating experience as a government purchase card holder; (4) Exhibiting the ability to plan organize and carry out clerical assignments regarding administrative policy, processes and travel; and (5) Demonstrating the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
