Position will be open until filled.
- Coordinates events for the chief executive officer and City Council.
- Conducts a variety of records management functions; organizes, updates, and maintains records and filing systems for the chief executive officer.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prepares budgets for the chief executive officer; reviews and monitors accounts; prepares budget amendments as necessary.
- Perform potentially confidential and complex administrative duties involving Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including composing formal business letters and memos, creating/updating spreadsheets, and compiling presentations.
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. is typical, but some nights and weekends will be required
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls; greet and direct office visitors.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the chief executive officer.
- Associates Degree in related field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
- Three years of experience as an executive assistant and/or office manager.
- Applicants with an out-of-state driver license must provide an original certified driving record from the state of driving licensure.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver License with a good driving record.
