Job Description
Responsibilities


  • Post-Event Management including:
  • Generate name badges for all attendees, Generate all reports for on-site registration, Provide venue with complete attendee list and all event setup needs, Organize and pack all materials needed for on-site meetings
  • Attend In-Person Events & Handle on-site registrations at meeting/special events
  • Follow-up on outstanding invoices, as needed, Distribute follow-up thank you letters, plaques/certificates to all presenters, Provide summary of meeting to client, including final budget and attendance records, Work with client on outreach to non-member event attendees
  • Organize meeting details, work with speakers, venues, AV company, caterer, and any other necessary vendors for all programs and special events.
  • Support Program Manager, as needed, with other work for clients
  • Prepare Client Meeting Materials for Onsite including:
  • Manage client programs and events, while providing guidance to volunteer members and being responsible for follow-through including:


Requirements


  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible and relevant experience preferred.
  • Use of personal vehicle is required as well as ability to lift and transport often-heavy and bulky materials.
  • Ability to attend frequent early morning and occasional evening events.
  • Advanced computer skills: Strong aptitude with computer software for applications in the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Customer Database, expertise in word processing and spreadsheets, knowledge of the Adobe Design Suite desired, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, familiarity with online services like MailChimp, Survey Monkey and CRM/CMS desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with senior business and public sector executives.
  • Ability to initiate tasks and assume responsibility for them, and to work with minimal oversight in a high-visibility position, with responsible follow-through.
