Job Description

Our staffing agency represents a privately-held field inspection management SaaS company that is widely considered the No. 1 solution in its space. They’ve earned hundreds of 5-star reviews on G2 (4.6 overall rating), Capterra (4.7) and Glassdoor (3.9).

This 80-employee, Series A firm ($47 million in total funding), which has more than 2,500 global customers, is seeking Enterprise Account Executives to close large SaaS deals with companies in three targeted verticals – electric utilities, water and sewer providers, and regulated environmental companies. You will work with about 50 large organizations – 35 existing customers and 15 net-new prospects.

Role

* Individual contributor role, working from your home office in a preferred metro area.

* $125k to $140k+ base, commensurate with previous quota achievement. $325k OTE.

* 100% 401(k) match on up to 6% of your contribution – this adds $20,000 per year for many people.

* You must have 5+ years of experience selling a product-based SaaS solution to Enterprise customers.

* Experience selling to electric utilities, water and sewer providers, and/or related regulated environmental companies is a non-negotiable requirement.

* This is a heavy expansion role. You will inherit 35 existing accounts spending $25k-$50k and grow them into Enterprise-wide deals of $125k to $250k+. Their largest customer spends $1 million.

* You will sell to CIO, COO, operations leaders, field leaders, facility, and asset management.

The Account Executive is responsible for both closing new customer business and expanding existing accounts in their assigned territory. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is able to effectively sell across a variety of industries and customer profiles in both transactional and consultative sales cycles.


Required skills:

· Strong prospecting, qualifying, and closing skills

· Excellent negotiation and communication skills both in person and virtually

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong phone presence

· Proven track record in SaaS sales with a history of exceeding revenue goals

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

· Detailed-oriented, well-organized, punctual, and must be able to keep up-to-date records on accounts and opportunities in Salesforce

· The high level of activity requires the individual to balance a range of responsibilities including outbound calling as well as territory and account support activities.


Roles & responsibilities:

· Become a product expert including the product's technical workings and practical business application

· Manage a portfolio of existing customers and work closely with them to assure their success with the software. Develop strong relationships with customers to protect ongoing revenue stream and identify/recommend upsell/cross-sell opportunities

· Close new customers and manage them through the implementation process to ensure they successfully adopt our service

· Drive regular account reviews with customers and provide strategies to optimize return.

· Work closely with internal departments such as Customer Success, to provide services required to meet customer expectations

· Maintain a positive interactive working relationship with Product Management and Product Engineering to resolve issues and communicate customer needs for future product enhancements

· Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales forecast on a weekly cadence
