Ecommerce Fulfillment Manager Jobs

Job Summary Statement
The Ecommerce Fulfillment Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing fulfillment of the ecommerce department which includes Igloocoolers.com, our Drop Ship business (Fulfilling orders from a select group of our customers’ websites), and the mailroom (receiving and distributing of mail, and all parcel shipments).
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates and tracks team metrics and productivity reports.
• Works with packaging engineering to ensure proper packaging standards are established and followed.
• Manages the mail and small package department.
• Serves as laison with suppliers/vendors for materials and services required for the department.
• Leads efforts to establish processes, procedures and controls to maintain a highly organized and efficient Ecommerce operation.
• Manages and is accountable for the accurate picking and staging of product for customer orders.
• Manages up to 35 employees at various levels of responsibility including temporary labor contractors; manages labor hours for the eCommerce department.
• Works with forecast/planning team, Ecomm Supply Chain Manager, and lean team to optimize inventory to meet demand. Optimization to include stockouts, inventory turns, and slotting (to optimize pick paths). Establishes appropriate metrics to measure performance.
• Manages material handling equipment.

• Responsible for maintaining an organized and clean department
• Manages the accurate receipt and put away of finish goods from Manufacturing into the Ecomm Inventory
• Supports safety initiatives, plans and executes process improvement projects.
• Works with quality to assess returns and make appropriate process improvements.
• Participates in the monthly S&OP processes regarding Ecomm fulfilment.
• Interfaces with Sales, IT, Logistics department and our customers to troubleshoot system issues interfering with the successful processing of customer orders.
• Selects, hires, trains, motivates and evaluates employees to ensure an effective workforce.
• Develops appropriate staffing models to achieve productivity and leadtime goals.
• Work with accounting team to develop a cycle count program to improve inventory accuracy.
• Ensures safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported on time; completes investigation of department safety incidents.
• Creates, validates, establishes and documents operational procedures and processes. Trains all personnel to the published standards.
• Responsible for planning and coordinating multi-departmental work on projects related to product and services.
• Develops, monitors, and manages the Ecommerce operational and expense budget.
• Responsible for the rework planning and execution function of damaged finished goods.
• Interfaces with our shopify, 3 rd party customer service, and IT teams that support our order fulfilment systems.
• Serves as the department’s primary agent for change management.
• Directs and coordinates activities including receiving, inventory, replenishment of stock, return goods, put away, picking, staging, packing and shipping small package orders.

Minimum Requirements And Qualifications

• Computer Skills: Intermediate level skills utilizing with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Physical Demands: Warehouse and Office environment; must be able to stoop and bend .
• Work environment: General office environment. Warehouse is hot and humid in summer months; cold in winter months.
• Experience: Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing, Ecomm fulfillment, or distribution operation
• English language skills: Must be able to read, speak, write, and comprehend English.
• Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide for the management of Budgets and Financials.
• Must be flexible and able to work irregular hours, holidays and weekends as required.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
