We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled E-commerce Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. As an E-commerce Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for our online retail business. Your primary focus will be on cross-border procurement, with a particular emphasis on working with China-based suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maximize value for the organization.
• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the needs of our e-commerce business.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality products at competitive prices.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as the operations team, to understand product requirements and forecast demand accurately.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure compliance with import/export laws, customs requirements, and trade regulations.
• Conduct thorough market research and supplier assessments to identify potential vendors, focusing on China-based suppliers.
• Continuously monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain developments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier selection to order placement, shipment tracking, and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and service level agreements.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of successfully working with China-based suppliers, demonstrating deep understanding of Chinese procurement practices and cultural nuances.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in cross-border procurement, with a focus on e-commerce operations.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Proficient in using procurement software and systems to manage sourcing, procurement, and inventory processes.
