Drupal Development Senior (Hybrid - 3 Days In Office)

Position Overview:

Are you looking for an opportunity to realize the art of possible in an iterative approach to bring to life some of the most intuitive and useful platform features? We are seeking an expert Drupal developer with a phenomenal attitude, passion, and love of technology - and the ability to get things done. The developer will work as part of a team, under the supervision (at least initially) of the organization's lead Drupal developer.

Responsibilities for this role include development, administration, and user support. To complete these duties this position will interact with internal clients to plan and develop Drupal related projects, interact and work with our internal IT team, and provide general technical mentorship for Drupal developers.

This position requires resolutions to sophisticated problems that require the frequent use of resourcefulness and creativity. This position should also provide resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems.

• We collaborate with product teams of content and digital strategists, product owners and key digital team leadership to advance our Drupal and online capabilities and go from not yet to possible
• We bring our online brand and visual identity to life through Drupal with an intuitive content creation interface, and an enriched site user experience
• We create online digital experiences to support Freddie Mac, and our main business lines in Single Family, Multifamily and Capital markets.

Your Impact:

• Track down caching and performance issues across the stack, improve our development pipeline, and Github Actions.
• Experience in technical mentorship and support for helping level-up the skills of colleagues on the team.
• Improve our offerings with emerging and traditional technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and Drupal modules.
• Familiarity working at enterprise scale across several tech stacks and stakeholder teams.
• Familiarity with Drupal’s theming system and willingness to dive into some front-end development when needed.

Qualifications:

• Drupal maintenance especially core/contrib module updates
• Experience with Acquia products such as Site Factory, Cloudflare, Cloud IDE, and Cloud EDGE with CDN is a plus
• Experience with Drush and Composer
• Minimum of 5-7 years of software development experience
• UNIX/LINUX skills advantageous
• PHP coding to hit a mySQL DB
• As our suite of contributed and custom modules grows, you’ll help ensure it is ready to scale to our needs.
• 3 + years of experience developing technical solutions, solvinsophisticatedex issues, and coaching other developers.
• Experience with a database technology, preferably MySQL
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 5 + years of demonstrated ability developing with Drupal specific technologies. (Drupal 9)
• PHP, Drupal Modules, Components, views, themes, and templates

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $114,000 - $172,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
