Job Description

Summary:

  • Position will require relocation to the greater Tulsa, Oklahoma area for daily onsite presence.
  • Responsible for managing current NDE client accounts and securing new clients, promoting company growth and overall development of staff. Works closely with Operations and assists with Business Development. Extensive knowledge about various technologies utilized for NDE services including but not limited to Phased Array, Ultrasonic Testing, Creaform, Magnetic Particle Testing, Material Verification and Eddy Current.


Duties:

  • Contribute to the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Coordinate with Human Resources to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees.
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” Actively support the Company’s commitment to its Core Values, including safety leadership, equal employment opportunity, employee development, and operational excellence.
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization. Develop relationships with vendors or contractors that will contribute to the daily efficiency of the Company.
  • Review all bid proposals and rate sheets before submitted to clients and ensure quality and scope of work adheres to Company expectations. Review performance data that includes financial, sales, and activity reports and spreadsheets, to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Accomplish results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance; coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and support Company’s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identify and evaluate trends and options; choose course of action; define objectives; evaluate outcomes. Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts that are in the best interest of the company.
  • Provide roadmap for revenue growth and track performance according to budget for revenue and costs of services.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization and with clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent directly related experience.
  • Excellent collaboration building skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demostrated customer service skills.
  • 5+ years of NDE or NDT experience in an oil & gas operations, consulting, manufacturing, or integrity services environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed/required for client meetings, trade shows and as needed for Operations.
  • Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization’s management team that provides leadership and direction.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business, supervision and management.
