About The Role & What You'll Do


The Director, Partner Success role will re port to the Head of Business D evelopment and be r esponsible for ge nerating revenue for the firm primarily through direct sales efforts and through partner services sales through management of 2-3 alliance partners. This role must collaborate with the, Managing Directors , Channel delivery teams , Chief Marketing Officer , B usiness D evelopment and Alliances team s .


What You’d Bring To Spur


Business Development


  • Research and assess business intelligence – market analysis, online reviews, press releases, publicly filed financial reports, etc. – to identify prospects
  • Partner closely with Delivery teams to ensure the team are fully prepared for customer conversations
  • Support sales efforts of other Biz Dev and Delivery leads
  • Initiate contact and manage communications with new prospect contacts
  • Engage with your network to share Spur capabilities and bring in new prospects
  • Provide support for the sales rhythm of the business – weekly account meetings, sales team meetings, and pipeline calls (amongst others)


Alliance Management


  • Understand and communicate firm products and services to your partners to increase brand awareness and develop more efficient means of driving revenue. Work with Delivery teams to create new service offerings as needed
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with executives at chosen alliances
  • N egotiating agreements, suppor t sales engagements, build joint marketing events and campaigns, and ensuring the long-term success of the relationship between Spur Reply and the partner(s).
  • Align with Channel Automation Managing Director and Head of partnerships and business development on 2-3 alliances you will manage


Spur Reply E vangelist


  • Align with the Chief Marketing Officer , Channel Managing Director and the Head of Partnerships and Business Development on a content creation strategy.
  • Create content as needed to execute strategy
  • Participate in Channel groups like Partnership Leaders
  • Attend and speak at Channel events


The Director will pursue, onboard, and manage 2-3 partner accounts. Th e individual will focus on several partner accounts and be responsible for coordinating all interactions with the partners. The Director shall engage in the full partner lifecycle


What You'll Need (Requirements)


  • Experience interacting and collaborating across all levels of the organization, customers, and external partners with professional demeanor and diplomacy
  • Experience tracking and presenting sales performance and pipeline data using relevant CRM software tools
  • Experience with solution selling, including negotiation of pricing, service bundling, and promotions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Excellent listening and people skills, self-initiated, proactive driver, and ability to navigate and influence highly ambiguous and challenging situations
  • Experience driving early-stage product adoption, leveraging ecosystems, channels, and strategies of scale.
  • Proven skills in building Go-to-market plans for channel and partner organizations . Experience developing and sustaining strategic partnerships
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field and/or 15+ years of relevant work experience in business development or partnerships
  • Ability to deal with a broad range of situations from long-term strategic thinking to high-priority escalations, while maintaining an objective viewpoint
  • Experience applying a data driven approach to monitoring performance and progress of business initiatives
  • Creating and communicating strategy through compelling narratives and customer stories to a variety of audiences like customers, partners, and internal employees
  • History of managing (budgeting, forecasting, tracking variance, etc.) budgets

The compensation range for this full-time position is between $110,841 - $172,222 plus commission and benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications, and as applicable, other required qualifications.
