Sales Operations:
This role will drive operational excellence across all lines of business through 1) leading the analytics and insights to enhance sales execution 2) leveraging data, sales performance metrics, and customer data to optimize deployment of the company’s sales team, and 3) designing KPIs to measure and improve sales team performance. This role will also be responsible for driving full utilization of SalesForce.com in furtherance of the goals identified above.
Business Development & Strategic Planning
This role will also support and help drive our external innovation strategy to ensure Zomedica continues to identify and acquire exciting new technologies. This role will be responsible initially for performing valuation modeling of potential deals, and is also a core member of the deal team, collaborating on deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and post-closing integrations.
Job requirements and skills:
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Experience with Salesforce development and deployment.
- 5+ years of relevant business experience, ideally in the animal or human health industry; prior work experience in a sales role strong preferred.
- Strong ability to work with cross functional partners to drive engagement and achieve results.
- Exceptional analytical capability.
- Understanding of valuation methods and ability to drive valuation models.
- Experience leveraging Tableau, MS Power BI, or similar tools for data analysis.
- Business acumen to effectively interpret data and improve execution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s Degree a plus.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead analyses to completion and present and communicate complex data in a non-technical way to guide organizational thinking, strategy development, and execution.
