Job Description

At Grape Up, we work on mission-critical projects for the world’s biggest OEMs, Tier1s, and Mobility providers, as strategic software development partners. Our customers include top-world Automotive brands.

To support strong business growth within the mobility industry, we are looking for an ambitious and successful leader who will build Grape Up’s presence in the US automotive market and reach the expansion objectives. The VP of Sales & Operations will be responsible for overseeing all functions of our US branch, from implementing business strategies to growing relationships with new customers to building a local team. In this role, you’ll report to the CEO of Grape Up Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and promote a work environment that inspires your team to align with Grape Up’s values
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations in cooperation with legal and tax advisors
  • Adapt and develop the communication strategy for the US market
  • Recruit, onboard, motivate, and lead a team needed to succeed (technical leaders at first)
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan with an ambitious business growth objective
  • Own the budget and P&L to ensure efficiency, profitability, and scalability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the Grape Up Group
  • Develop processes and procedures with support from the Grape Up Group and ensure they are tailored to the needs of the branch
  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, identifying solutions to potential issues
  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with new customers
  • Drive sales within the mobility industry in the USA

Requirements

  • Goal orientation, perseverance, and hands-on approach
  • Solid track record in selling software services or technology consulting within the automotive industry
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or IT
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Excellent business acumen
  • To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to prove that they are legally authorized to work in the United States
