Job Overview:

As the Director of Revenue Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our internal sales revenue processes. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement systems that streamline the entire sales process, ensuring efficiency and collaboration across teams, including Sales, Finance, and Accounting. You will be the conduit between sales and various stakeholders, guaranteeing a seamless customer experience and internal operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting: Work closely with CRM administrators to generate accurate sales forecasts. Synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Be comfortable with data analysis, using CRM and pipeline management tools to gain insights into sales performance and trends.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance existing revenue operations processes. Identify bottlenecks, implement improvements, and drive efficiency.
  • CRM Management: Oversee and optimize CRM systems, like HubSpot, to improve sales effectiveness and customer relationship management.
  • Sales Training: Collaborate with the sales team to provide insights and tools to enhance their performance. While not directly involved in training, you'll work to ensure the team has the resources they need.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the liaison between various departments, including Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Accounting, to ensure smooth cross-functional communication and collaboration.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Develop and implement robust systems and procedures for the entire sales cycle, from prospect to onboarding of new customers. Ensure a clear, efficient, and standardized process.
  • Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of 5-9 individuals. Provide mentorship and support to team members.


Requirements:

  • Process-Oriented: Strong process-driven mindset with the ability to design, implement, and optimize streamlined procedures.
  • Managerial Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role within revenue operations. You understand the nuances of revenue operations and can lead a team effectively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a hypergrowth environment, capable of problem-solving in fast-paced situations.
  • Diplomacy: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and individuals, including warehouse operations and other departments. Diplomacy and communication skills are essential.
  • Data Proficiency: Comfortable with data analysis, CRM systems, pipeline management, and sales forecasting. You understand what data is meaningful for decision-making.
  • Sales Background: Ideally, you've carried a sales quota in the past, which gives you credibility with the sales team. You may have transitioned into sales operations.
