Director Of Legal Recruiting

As of May 19th, a highly reputable law firm is seeking a Director of Legal Recruiting to spearhead entry-level and lateral attorney hiring efforts for the New York office, including leading a Summer Associate Program. The Director will be responsible for:

· Facilitating all interview processes and overseeing the onboarding and orientation of all new attorney hires.

· Communicating with Practice Leaders and Firm Management regarding hiring needs, recruitment strategies, and lateral Partner and Associate candidates.

· Developing fruitful partnerships with search firms and law school recruiting contacts.

· Managing and mentoring junior team members, including hiring new recruiting professionals as needed.

· Reviewing recruitment statistics and identifying ways to enhance systems and processes.

· Promoting the diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives of the firm.

Requirements:

· 10+ years of related legal recruiting experience and the ability to build strong rapport and relationships across the firm.

· Self-starter with strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.

· Proactive work ethic with the ability to maintain discretion in all appropriate situations.
