Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:

Clifford Chance US LLP is seeking a full time Temporary Legal Recruiting Assistant. The role will provide general administrative assistance and support to the US Legal Recruiting department with a focus on entry level attorney recruitment and the Firm's Summer Law Clerk program. The duration of this temporary role will be 4-5 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the summer associate and entry-level recruitment programs, including assigned duties related to on-campus recruiting and firm sponsored events.
  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to: data entry, creating and maintaining electronic files, preparing correspondence.
  • Assist in the scheduling of candidate interviews.
  • Assist, attend and prepare materials for in-person on-campus interviews.
  • Act as a point of contact to new joiners and prospective new joiners; responding to and directing candidate inquiries.
  • Assist with the event logistics of summer law clerk events including but not limited to: tracking RSVPs, assembling gifts, and coordinating with external vendors.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of gifts and giveaway items for students and lawyers.
  • Perform other related assignments and duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Flexibility to work outside the core business hours as needed.
  • Must be independently legally authorized to work in the United States.
The salary range for this role is $28-30 per hour. The actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
