Director Of Accounting/Deputy Cfo

Multi-entity, multi-state organization in the Agriculture industry headquartered in Denver.

Responsibilities:

• Drive post-acquisition integration strategy across accounting & IT.
• Review and analyze business strategies throughout the company to ensure alignment of operations and financial objectives; model long-term financial performance and opportunities.
• Develop corporate risk assessment & management strategies, including tax strategy.
• Develop, manage, and mentor staff across the Finance & Accounting function; provide guidance on maintaining strong employee engagement and tenure.
• Manage and support the Accounting function at the Corporate level; key point of contact for bank relationships, external audits, month-end close, internal reporting, tax filing, etc.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in-office 5 days a week, Central Time Zone hours.
• 10+ years’ experience, preference for Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Manufacturing and/or Agriculture.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or similar; CPA preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $250-$300k base + bonus
