Compensation and Benefits:
·Salary range is $115,000-$130,000
·Benefits include bonus potential, health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with 4% company match, equity shares, sick and vacation leave
Position Summary: The Director of Manufacturing has responsibility for overseeing day-to-day shop floor operations across all production shifts.This person is responsible for ensuring production targets are hit, quality and safety standards are achieved, and the workforce is engaged.In this role, the position holder will serve as the MOD for all aspects of the production floor and will serve as the “voice of the production floor” for the senior management team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
·Manage all Production Shift Managers across scheduled production shifts throughout the week.
·Serve as key point of contact for communication of schedule for production floor.
·Direct responsibility for managing labor costs and production efficiencies.
·Track, manage and report operations metrics (OEE)
·Weekly output and labor reports with correcting process recommendations.
·Present daily cost of completes by line and report schedule adherence.
·Responsible for scanning and traceability of all raw materials and created finished goods
·Create plans for employee mentoring and training.
·Verify all Production and Quality documentation is complete and accurate.
·Coordinate shift-to-shift communication
·Oversee the employee discipline program.
·Maintain all in-process manufacturing specifications.
·Assure personnel follow GMPs & good hygiene practices.
·Review manufacturing processes and meet efficiency targets.
·Review and improve production processes and efficiencies.
·Manage and reduce downtime by working closely with maintenance on PM’s etc.
·Experience working with/Managing Maintenance staff.
·Assure facility and employee safety.
·Assist in product development and product improvements (R&D) as needed.
·Ensure sanitation protocols and changeovers are followed.
·Investigate root cause and implement corrective actions as necessary.
·Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
·Support Food Safety and Quality audits
·Process improvement understanding and Focus
Marginal Duties Performed Less Frequently:
·Working with 3rd party contractors
Supervisory Responsibility:
·This position will have direct supervision responsibilities for production Managers and production floor associates (70-100 per shift, up to 200 total)
·Must be available to Shift Managers at any time that production is scheduled.

Supervision Given:
·This position will report to the Vice President of Operations
·The position holder is expected to be able to work with minimal oversight at times, able to confidently handle situations on their own.
